2 Injuried In Boating Accident

boat accidentTwo people have been seriously injured after their boat runs aground on the lake. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, water division, 28 year old Christina Henry of Dupo, Illinois was driving a 1990 black thunder runabout at a high rate of speed when she ran aground at the 37 ½ mile mark at the lake. Her passengers, 31 year old Reggie Allen of Dupo Illinois suffered minor injuries and 26 year old Erica Bagley of Alton, Illinois suffered serious injuries. Both where taken to lake regional hospital for treatment and the boat had severe damage to the hull, causing partial submersion. Henry was charged with assault with a vessel, traveling without a certificate, traveling above the night time speed limit and boating while intoxicated and is being held at the Camden County jail without bond.
