Timothy Colwell Captured

The hunt for a Brumley man who was wanted in Camden County comes to an end.

21 year old Timothy Charles Colwell was wanted for questioning in the rape and confinement of his wife and the assault of a Linn Creek woman. Colwell was captured by Lamar county police in Lamar County Georgia. According to Camden County Sheriff Dwight Franklin, investigators were contacting family members and other connections in search of Colwell and developed information that Colwell had fled to Georgia. After contacting the Georgia State Police, they began searching for Colwell. Colwell has been taken into custody without incident and is currently being held in the Spalding County jail pending extradition back to Missouri. He’s officially been charged with first degree burglary, domestic assault, stealing and tampering in Camden County.
