MU offer’s Master Gardener Courses

The university of Missouri extension will be offering master gardener training at the Dallas county career center this fall.

This multi week class will begin with orientation on august 26th followed by 11 three hour classes on specified Tuesday or Thursday evenings at 6pm from august 31st through October 28th.  Brie menoulet, an agronomy specialist with the university of Missouri extension says, “participating in the master gardener volunteer program is a great opportunity for gardening enthusiasts to share knowledge and skills with others in their neighborhoods and communities” after completion of the training program, master gardeners become volunteers of the university extension and donate volunteer hours for community educational projects. There is a course fee which covers the 33 hours of instruction and materials. Registration and fee must be received by august 13th.
