Lebanon Man Arrested for Two Murders and Burglaries

A Lebanon man is facing two murder charges, two armed criminal action charges, and two counts of burglary after the early Tuesday morning deaths of an elderly Laclede County couple.

30 year old Jesse Driskill was arrested early Tuesday in the investigation of the deaths of 82 year old Johnnie Wilson and his wife 76 year old Coleen. Police went to the rural Laclede County home this morning and found the couple dead and covered in blankets, both with severe head trauma.  Mrs. Wilson had been raped.  According to the probable cause statement, Driskill told friends after the incident that he had burglarized the couple’s home, raped the woman, and shot both of them in the head.  Driskill then stole their car and drove it to a road in Dallas County and set it on fire. The Lebanon man was found this morning after a motorist contacted police and said they picked up a hitchhiker and took them back to Lebanon. That hitchhiker turned out to be Driskill.  With further investigation, authorities also found blood stained clothes at the home where Driskill was staying.
