Two Suspended for Election Violations
Taxpayer equipment is used for two separate campaigns, leading to the suspension of two Camden County courthouse employees.
One employee of the Camden County commission office was suspended for two days for an email that was created on a county email account. That email endorsed presiding commissioner Carolyn Loraine who is up for reelection. The email was sent to several personal email accounts. The second employee suspended for two days is a state worker in the circuit clerk’s office. That employee sent a fax from the county fax machine to the Lake Sun newspaper discussing a community calendar event for W. Steven Rives. Rives is running for Camden County prosecutor. The county employee handbook says campaigning is prohibited on taxpayers’ time and equipment.

My opinion is this that whom ever is running against those that county employees used fax machines or emailed from county computers that is whom I am voting against.
Understand the person put on 2 days leave was DeDe Casin Loraines Secretary
Mayve those 2 candidates should be removed from the ballot or fined.
