Joplin Man Injured When He Falls Asleep at the Wheel

A Joplin man is hospitalized after he falls asleep at the wheel yesterday morning on the interstate in Laclede County. 

32 year old Damien Doxley was headed east on interstate forty four, a half a mile west of Conway, when he fell asleep.  The 1999 Mercury Sable that Doxley was driving left the road and hit the median cable. The Joplin 32 year old was wearing his seat belt and suffered minor injuries.  He was taken by ambulance to St. Johns hospital in Lebanon.
