Road Work for the Week of August 23rd Through 27th
Here’s a check of the road work for the week.
In Camden County there will be one lane open for surfacing sealing Monday through Thursday of this week on Route N between Route 54 and end of state maintenance, on Route O between Route 54 and end of state maintenance, on Route U between Route 54 and end of state maintenance. On Route NN between Route 7 and end of state maintenance, one lane will be open Wednesday and Thursday for sealing.
On the western half of the new expressway, the new Case Road overpass is now open to traffic. Crews are pouring the bridge deck for the Jeffries Road/Route 54 overpass. Grading continues from Nichols to Case Road. El Terra Lane is closed and motorists should use Swiss Village Road for access. This week drainage, erosion control and grading takes place from KK to Key Largo. And concrete work is scheduled to begin this week for the new Route KK roundabout.
On the eastern half of the new expressway, grading, drainage and asphalt work continues for the Osage Beach Parkway South northern tie-in to the existing Route 54. Traffic on Bluff Road is being detoured to Route 54 through Osage Beach Parkway South and Fort Osage Lane to allow for the construction of the new Bluff Road.
And on Route 5, one mile north of Route F to Route F in Sunrise Beach, guardrail installation and finish work continues. That project is scheduled to be complete in late summer 2010.
In Miller County for the new Route 54 expressway, construction on the Horseshoe Bend Extension overpass bridge has been completed. And westbound traffic has been reduced to one lane between the Osage River Bridge and Business Route 54 near the Baymont Inn. This traffic configuration will remain in place throughout the summer. And on Route 42 between the Camden County line and the Maries County line roadway patching and repair will take place Monday through Thursday of next week. One lane will be open.
And in Morgan County on Route N between Route 52 and Route BB, road patching will take place Monday through Wednesday. One lane will be open. And on Route FF between Route 52 and the Benton County line, road patching will take place Thursday of this week and Monday of next week. One lane will be open and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
