An eighteen year old from Osage Beach is being held on drug charges after a traffic stop on Sunday evening. 

According to Osage Beach Police, Maxwell Rocco Lewis was driving a green Ford F-150 in excess of the speed limit on Sunday night about 10:30 on the 4200 block of Highway 54.

After making the stop and while the officer was speaking with Lewis a marijuana odor was detected.  A K-9 searched the vehicle and found marijuana and paraphernalia.

Lewis was taken into custody and is being held on a $50,000 bond.

He has been charged with class B felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, class A misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and exceeding the posted speed limit.
