Three Charged With Drug Crimes

Three local residents face drug charges after a noise disturbance early Tuesday morning. 

The Camden County Sheriff’s Department was called for a disturbance on the 8000 block of north Highway 5.

When they arrived, deputies developed probable cause for a search warrant, which was then executed. Law enforcement found small quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine, pharmaceuticals, and drug paraphernalia.

Three arrests were made.  54-year old Mark Anderson Garcia and 49-year old Steven Slagle, both from Camdenton, face felony possession and an unlawful possession charges. Garcia has no bond. Slagle’s bond is $50,000 and his charges include intent to distribute.

45-year old Amber Mahany of Sunrise Beach also faces felony possession and unlawful use charges. Mahany was taken to the Missouri Department of Corrections on a probation violation.  She will be charged in Camden County once she is released from state prison.
