An Iberia woman is hospitalized in Jefferson City after her van hits some trees Monday in Maries County. 

The incident happened at 5 o’clock in the afternoon on Missouri 133, one and a half miles east of Brinktown.

Seventy-six year old Glenda Martin was driving her 2005 Chrysler Town and Country west on the road when the van traveled off the left side of the road.  Martin overcorrected and the van went off the right side of the road and hit several trees.

The Iberia woman was wearing her seat belt and suffered moderate injuries.  She was taken by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.
