Red Flag Warning In Effect

Dangerous fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon. A Red flag warning is posted for noon today to 6 p.m. Strong winds, low humidity and unseasonably warm temperatures will allow grass and forest fuels to catch fire more easily than normal. The high winds will allow natural cover fires to spread very quickly and be difficult to contain. The Red Flag Warning covers a large area from far southeastern Kansas into parts of southwestern and central Missouri…including Camden, Miller abnd Morgan counties.
