Lots of Election Activity for Dixon

There are more candidates for city and school elections in Dixon than any other area races as of tonight. Dixon will have something this year it hasn’t had in over 20-years, and that’s the Marshall’s job. Cliffty Yoakum isn’t running for re-election. One of the first candidate’s to file for the job is his assistant, Sgt. Mike Plummer, and he’ll face James Eddleman, Scott Jones, John Ward., and John McNeil. Troy Porter and Craig Rivera are running for re-election to the Dixon R-I School Board and they have four challengers- Steven Roberson, Marion Jim Anderson, Cesar Salais, and Jim Campbell.
