Christina White Sentencing Today

The Miller County woman accused of killing her 7-month-old son by setting his blanket on fire, could be sent to prison for anywhere from 10 years to life when she’s sentenced today in LeClede County. 29-year-old Christina White of Iberia entered an “Alford” plea, acknowledging prosecutors have enough evidence to win a conviction on second-degree murder, first-degree arson and child endangerment charges. White’s baby suffered burns over 60 percent of his body and spent several weeks in the hospital until he died in July, 2007.
