Kansas Couple to be Arraigned in Van Note Case
Two people from Kansas accused in the murder of a man in Camden County in 2010 will be in court today. Deseree Dory and his wife Stacy are scheduled to be arraigned this morning in Boone County on charges of second degree murder and forgery. Authorities believe the Dorys forged a signature on a form that refused life support measures for William Van Note. He had been stabbed and shot in his Sunrise Beach home and taken to University Hospital in Columbia where he died. His daughter, Susan Van Note, is in jail accused of murdering her father.
