Active Shooter Training at Camden County School

The Camden County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting an ‘active shooter’ class Friday at the Stoutland school. Sheriff Dwight Franklin explains:

Franklin says it serves two purposes: training officers, and familiarizing school administrators and teachers with what would happen if there was an actual ‘active shooter’ in the school:

A similar exercise was conducted recently at Macks Creek School and another one is planned for Climax Springs.
