Macks Creek Bank Robber Pleads Guilty

It’s taken over 13 years, but 48-year-old Joel Davis pleaded guilty today in Camden County Circuit Court to charges tied to the 1999 robbery of The Bank of Macks Creek. Davis pleaded guilty to charges of robbery and armed criminal action. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the robbery count, and four for the armed criminal action charge. Davis was arrested last year after more than 10 years on the run.
