Accused Child Killer Due in Court

A Stover man accused of beating a three year old child to death is due to make a court appearance this morning in Morgan County for a motion hearing. 22-year old Thomas Presley of Versailles is charged with second degree murder in the death of Blake Litton. Prosecutors say in February, Presley allegedly beat Litton, but told authorities the boy had been the victim of a hit and run accident. Presley is also facing two charges of child endangerment and child abuse. He remains in custody at the Pettis County Jail in Sedalia. Presley is set to go on trial on March 4th.
