Van Note Murder Suspect in Court
Tuesday, November 27th, 2012
One of the alleged accomplices in the William Van Note murder trial makes an appearance in court. 44-year old Stacy Dory of Shawnee, Kansas was in a Boone County courtroom yesterday afternoon for a motion hearing. Dory, along with her husband 42-year old Desre Dory, are accused of helping Susan Van Note forge signatures on documents that led to William Van Note being taken off of life support. He was shot and stabbed at his Sunrise Beach home in October of 2010. All of the court action in the case is being held in Boone County because William Van Note died at a Columbia hospital. Stacy Dory remains free on bond. Her trial is set to start next Tuesday.
