‘Cans Film Festival’ Collects Over 330,000 Cans of Food
They’ve finished counting up all the cans collected during Saturday’ ‘Cans Film Festival’ at the Osage Village 5 cinema and the rest of the Wehrenberg Theaters:
Anyone who brought five canned food items received free admission to a movie Saturday at Wehrenberg Theaters across Missouri. Moviegoers donated more than 330,000 cans of food during this year’s drive. Wehrenberg’s Kelly Hoskins says 13,532 were collected at the Osage Village 5 … and the single largest donation — 180 cans — was made by someone in Osage Beach. That person will receive a year-long movie pass.
