Suspect Charged in Ivy Bend Murders

From the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office:

Early this morning Ronald James Blowers, DOB July 8, 1987, 33226 Sunset Road Stover,
Missouri was charged with two (2) counts of Second Degree Murder in the killing of Wayne and
Mable Wells on Monday, December 3, 2012.

Evidence from the scene and information obtained from Ronald Blowers led to the charges being
filed. It was first believed that the victims had been shot by a small caliber firearm; however
the autopsy revealed they died of blunt force trauma. It is believed that a pipe, knife, and
screwdriver were used to inflict the injuries. Yesterday a pipe was found near the scene believed
to be one of the weapons.

Ronald Blowers is currently being held in the Morgan County Adult Detention Center on
$1,000,000.00 bond.

This investigation is ongoing at this time.
