Ameren Makes Changes to Dock Permit Process

Ameren is changing the way it issues dock permits for the Lake of the Ozarks. Beginning January 1st, dockowners will need documentation from their local fire district, showing their dock has passed an electrical inspection, before a permit will be issued:

Ameren’s Shoreline Management Supervisor Jeff Green says the new requirement applies to all new docks, relocated, and modified docks:

Green says Ameren also encourages all owners of new and existing docks to continue to have docks inspected on a regular basis once receiving a permit.
