McCaskill Takes Oath of Office

With fellow Senator Roy Blunt and former Senator Jean Carnahan at her side, Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill takes the oath of office to begin her second six year term in the U.S. Senate. McCaskill easily won reelection with a landslide victory over Republican congressman Todd Akin in November. Senators Blunt and McCaskill will be teaming up to protect Missouri’s military interests. Blunt today was named to the Senate Armed Services Committee. McCaskill is already on the committee.
