Crocker Teen Facing Charges After Accident on Highway 42
A 19-year old Crocker man is facing 13 charges following a crash over the weekend in Miller County that sends three people to the hospital. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says late Saturday afternoon, a car driven by Jesse Pierce slid across Highway 42 near Hawken Cemetery Road. The vehicle went off the road where it hit an embankment and overturned. 19-year old John Earp of Iberia was seriously injured and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital before being taken to University Hospital in Columbia. 19-year old David Faulkner, also from Iberia, along with Pierce were both taken to Lake Regional Hospital. The Patrol says Pierce is facing multiple charges including two counts of assault, drinking alcohol while driving, minor in possession of alcohol and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was taken to the Miller County Jail.
