Camden County Places Use Tax on April Ballot

Camden County voters will be asked to approve a Use Tax to replace revenue lost as a result of a Missouri Supreme Court ruling last year, declaring the SALES tax on out-of-state purchases unconstitutional. The Camden County Commission has voted to place the use tax on the April election ballot. The Cities of Camdenton, Laurie and Osage Beach are placing similar proposals before voters.
