Fire Destroys Home in Macks Creek

A Macks Creek family is safe, but their home and everything in it is gone after a weekend fire.  The Heart of Missouri Chapter of the American Red Cross is helping the family of four who lost their home on Three Willis Lane after the blaze broke out early yesterday morning.  A chapter volunteer from Camden County met with the family yesterday and provided financial resources to help with food and clothing.  They were also referred to other partner agencies in the area for assistance.  The family was able to find a place to stay temporarily.  No word on the cause of the fire at this time.
