LOCLG Names New Executive Director
The Lake of the Ozarks Council of Local Governments has a new leader. The board of directors of the agency, which serves as a regional planning council for the Lake area, has named Linda Conner as its new Executive Director. Conner has served as Interim Executive Director since August, following the departure of Debbie Rathert, who had held the post since June of 2010. Under Conner’s direction, the LOCLG is moving forward with several projects, including Hazard Mitigation Plans for Miller & Morgan Counties, a wastewater feasibility study and Mo Broadband Phase II planning. The Safe Routes to Schools grant awards will be announced next Thursday. The Lake of the Ozarks Council of Local Governments serves Camden, Laclede, Miller and Morgan counties.
