Tuscumbia Men Busted for Meth After High-Speed Chase

Two Miller County men are behind bars in Callaway County after a high speed chase Saturday morning. 22-year-old Nelson Casey and 20-year-old Cody Gore, both of Tuscumbia were arrested after leading deputies on a 40 mile pursuit, at speeds reaching 100 mph. The chase ended when their car crashed. Police say they were found to be in possession of methamphetamine and needles. Both men were arrested on drug charges and booked into the Callaway County jail.  Nelson is being held on a $20,000 bond. Gore’s bail was set at $9,000.
