Morgan County Pastor Back in Court

A Stover pastor charged with sex crimes that allegedly happened several years ago will be back in court on Tuesday. 42-year old Travis Smith is scheduled for a case review in Moniteau County Court. He is charged with statutory rape and statutory sodomy from an incident in January of 2005. Smith is also facing charges of forcible rape, statutory rape and sexual abuse from an incident in 1998 and one count of statutory rape from another incident in 1999. Smith is the pastor of the First Baptist Church in Stover. He remains free on bond.
