Stover Cop Accused of Sex with Minors Arraigned and Fired

A now-former Stover police officer accused of having sex with three underage girls has been arraigned in Moniteau County on six counts of statutory rape.  23-year-old Aaron Nelson appeared before Judge Peggy Richardson, who set bond and ordered Nelson to return to court February 5th.  Two of the girls were 16 years old, the youngest was 15. The alleged incidents occurred last year, beginning in April. Nelson was arrested Monday at his home in California, MO.  Stover Police Chief Trampus Jackson says he fired Nelson after learning of the allegations.
