Department of Ag Finishes Eldon Animal Shelter Investigation

The Missouri Department of Agriculture has concluded its investigation into allegations of abuse at Eldon’s  city animal shelter.  Their report says there is no credible evidence to support claims that two dogs were brutally beaten.  But the findings do show that several people interviewed contradicted themselves and that there were multiple inconsistencies. The report will be forwarded to the Missouri Attorney General’s office for further review. And the Department will reinspect the shelter before reinstating its license for this year.
