Cops On Top in Osage Beach

Osage Beach police officers are spending the day on the roof of the Hy-Vee gas station.  They’re taking part in the annual “Cops on Top” fundraiser for Special Olympics.  It’s a “warm-up” for next weekend’s Polar Plunge,  Lake of the Ozarks State Park Public Beach No.2.  Area residents are being asked to stop by Hy-Vee during the 12 hour long event, ending at 6 p.m., and make a donation. Last year’s “Cops on Top” raised $3,900, and officers are hoping to beat that today.
