Riding the Storm Out at the Lake

It’s worse than it looks. But it could’ve been worse. Meteorologist Scott Truitt at the National Weather Service:

In the Lake area, it was mostly sleet — two inches of sleet, reported on the ground in Camdenton. But just 75 miles to the north, it’s an entirely different story:
Not a good day to drive. Lake Ozark Police Chief Mark Maples says the roads are still in rough shape:
He says they hope to have the highways cleared by midday tomorrow.
MoDOT is continuing to plow the major roads in the Lake area, and get plows out onto the lettered
routes.
