Power Outages in the Lake Area

The heavy, wet snow is causing numerous power outages across the Lake area.  Ameren Missouri is reporting 13 people are without power in Camden County, 1881 in Morgan County and 336 in Miller County.  Co-Mo Electric says about 6,800 members are without power at this time.  Most of the outages are being caused by the snow which is weighing down trees and power lines.  Power company officials remind people to never go near a downed power line.  They also ask that you please report any downed power lines immediately.
