Lights Out Around the Lake

Thousands of Lake area residents are still without electricity as a result of the heavy, wet snow bringing down power lines. Co-Mo was particularly hard hit. As of early Wednesday morning,  more than 11,000 homes and businesses were still without electricity.  Co-Mo’s John Agliata says crews worked late into the evening to restore power to as many members as possible, and the work will resume at 6 a.m.:

LeClede Electric Cooperative reported power had been restored to its approximately 800 members who lost it by late afternoon.  About half of those affected were in the Camdenton area.

Ameren Missouri says fewer than one percent of its customers were still without power Tuesday night.
