Camdenton Woman Killed in Jefferson City Crash

A Camdenton teenager is dead after a wrong way crash in Jefferson City.  Police say the crash happened Wednesday night on Highway 54 at Highway 179.  A pick up driven by 29-year old Dennis Leoporin of Columbia was going the wrong way on Highway 54 when it hit a car driven by 19-year old Chelsea Fredrickson.  She died at the scene.  A passenger in her vehicle was seriously injured and was taken by helicopter to a Columbia hospital.  Leoporin had moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital.  Police are continuing their investigation and say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
