Laurie PD Takes Delivery of Military Humvee

The Laurie Police Department has added a Humvee to its fleet, courtesy of the Department of Defense.  The Hummer, which was used by the National Guard in the Middle East, was given to city free of charge. The Laurie Board of Aldermen accepted the offer of the surplus vehicle valued at $48,000,  at a recent board meeting.
