Sewer District Making Plans for the Next Snow Storm
Monday, March 11th, 2013
Planning for the next winter storm is on the minds of the Gravois Arm Sewer District. During the recent snow storm, the Lake Road 5-18 lift station lost power for three days. The district does have a generator, but they could not get it to the station because of the snow covered roads. At a recent meeting, the district discussed other ways to move the generator, having roads plowed faster and the district buying either a snow plow or utility truck for next winter. The board will have their next meeting on Monday, April 6th. The meeting will start at 6:00 at night and will be held at the district office in Gravois Mills.
