Friday, March 15th, 2013
The Ronald Blowers double-murder case will not be tried in Morgan County. Circuit Court Judge Kenneth Hayden has sustained a request from Blowers’ attorney for a change of venue. It hasn’t been decided yet where the trial will be moved to. Blowers is charged with two counts of second-degree murder in the beating deaths of Wayne and Mabel Wells in their Ivy Bend home last December. He’s being held in the Morgan County jail on $1 million bail.
