Ronald Blowers Double-Murder Trial Moved to Laclede County

The trial of a Stover man charged with the murder of an elderly Ivy Bend couple last December has been moved to Laclede County. Judge Kenneth Hayden approved the change of venue request for Ronald Blowers, who is charged with two counts of second-degree murder for the beating deaths of 82-year old Wayne and 71-year old Mabel Wells. A trial date has not been set yet. Blowers remains in the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $1 million bond.
