Lake Ozarks Amphitheater on the Auction Block

The Lake Ozarks Amphitheater is being sold at auction.  The Amphitheater, part of a 62 acre entertainment complex on Hwy 5 just north of US 54.in Camdenton, was once a destination concert venue.  The Amphitheater can accommodate crowds of up to 20,000.   Since opening in 1993, the line-up of performers there has included acts ranging from Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw and the Dixie Chicks to Cheap Trick, REO Speedwagon and the Beach Boys.  But there hasn’t been a concert there since 2011.  The property will be sold to the highest bidder next Thursday afternoon.
