Osage Beach Aldermen Approve Improvements to Key Largo Intersection
The city of Osage Beach will be spending almost 100 thousand dollars for improvement work to the Highway 54 and Key Largo Road intersection. At their meeting on Thursday night, the Board of Alderman passed a bill by a vote of five to nothing that will allow the city to enter into an agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission. The city will pay 99 thousand 318 dollars as part of a lump sum agreement. Bids for the work will go out later this year with construction set to start sometime in the early part of 2014. The board also voted five to nothing to extend the lease with Lamar Companies for two billboards on the Grand Glaize Bridge until December 29th.
