Sobriety Checkpoint Leads to One DWI Arrest
21 vehicles are stopped and one person is arrested for driving while intoxicated during a sobriety checkpoint in Miller County. The Missouri Highway Patrol set up the checkpoint last Thursday. One person was arrested for DWI, two for drugs and two for minor in possession of alcohol. Six other people were taken into custody for other violations. 24 warnings were also issued.
