Man Accused of Killing Camdenton Teen in Court
A man accused of killing a Camdenton teenager in a traffic crash earlier this year in Jefferson City is due in court today. 29-year old Dennis Leporin of Columbia is charged with second degree murder, assault, driving while intoxicated persistent offender, driving while suspended, and driving the wrong way. Jefferson City Police say Leporin was driving the wrong way on Highway 54 when his pick up collided head on with a car driven by 19-year old Chelsea Fredrickson. A passenger in her vehicle did survive the crash. The case review for Leporin will happen in a Cole County courtroom in Jefferson City.
