The Mid-County Fire Protection District is hoping for a “yes” vote during the April election. Mid-County Fire Chief Scott Frandsen says the board decided to put the tax levy back on the ballot, and it is the exact same scenario put forth in November.
Frandsen then goes on to say that this tax levy increase would prevent the fire station from having to close stations, and sell equipment. He also discusses a few reasons behind the decision:
