Black Bears Population Increases Across Ozarks

Lions and tigers and bears oh my? According to a recent report, black bears seem to be making a come back in Missouri, primarily across the Ozarks. Missouri department of conservation agent Eric Swainston explains the reason behind their return:

Swainston says typically a bear is more scared of us than we are of them, but residents still need to be aware of their surroundings while they are in wooded areas.
