The double murder trial of Stover man is scheduled to begin soon. Ronald James Blowers will go on trial next month for allegedly killing Mable and Wayne Wells in December of 2012. According to police, the Stover couples were found murdered in their home as a result of blunt force trauma. Blowers was arrested in connection to the case the next day after he led law enforcement on a foot pursuit and then repeatedly stabbed himself in the stomach and neck. In addition to murder, blowers faces charges for burglary and two counts of armed criminal action. His trial is scheduled to begin August 11th in Laclede County on a change of venue from Morgan County.
