Boy Recovering Following Fatal Accident

A 14 year old boy that was seriously injured in a car accident that claimed the lives of four people last week on the Niangua bridge in Camden County continues to recover. 14 year old Donnie Schroeder survived the accident that killed the teenager’s mother, father and twin brother, after their pickup collided with a dump truck. Schroeder is recovering from surgery and has begun rehabilitation and is expected to make a successful recovery. Funeral services for the teen’s three family members were scheduled for Tuesday in the family’s hometown of Benson, Illinois. 56 year old Randal Estes of Warsaw was also killed in the accident. An educational fund has been set up for Donnie Schroeder in care of Flanagan State Bank in Benson, Illinois.
