Its Shootout week and thousands of visitors and racers are preparing for what is one of the biggest events of the season for the Lake of the Ozarks. Camden County Sheriff Dwight Franklin says they’re ready to help traffic on highway 5
Franklin says visitors should pay close attention to the signs directing where to park and avoid walking on highway 5 to Captain Rons. Instead he recommends taking the shuttles that are free for those who park in the designated parking locations.
Franklin says the department not only helps with traffic flow up and down north 5, but also assists with flow of traffic in and out of Captain Ron’s as well.
