An old run down hotel in the city of Camdenton is no more. The Camdenton Inn on highway 54 near the city square was recently demolished to make room for two new businesses. One will be a five thousand square foot building while the other one will be six thousand square feet. Work on the project is expected to begin immediately and should be completed in March. The property was purchased by BFH development which also owns a nearby shopping center that was built earlier this year. The Camdenton Inn was a mid-century style Motel that is similar to motels once found up and down classic highways such as Route 66.
