The 23rd Annual Spring Shoreline Cleanup at the Lake of the Ozarks is off to a great start. That’s according to organizers who say hundreds of volunteers have turned out to participate in the adopt-the-shoreline cleanup that began March 15th and runs thru April 13th. The Annual Spring Shoreline Cleanup began in early 1990’s with nine civic clubs adopting 89 miles of shoreline. Today it includes more than 90 businesses, organizations and individual property owners who have adopted more than 700 miles of shoreline between Bagnell Dam and Truman Dam. Organizers say more volunteers are still needed and area residents are encouraged to get involved.
